Angie Perez Bowes

Angie Bowes (Perez), 38, died August 28th at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah, surrounded by her family and friends.

Angie was of Catholic faith and attended Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, IN, and graduated with honors from Purdue University. Surviving are her husband, Jamie Bowes, and daughter, Olivia Bowes, both of Savannah, GA; parents Gail and Rich Perez, of Bluffton, SC; grandfather Frank Hecimovich, of Leesburg, FL; mother-in-law Pam Bowes, of The Villages, FL; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Friday, August 31st at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, and there will be a Service on Saturday, September 1st at 3:30pm at the same location.

The family requests remembrances be made to the Angelina Perez Bowes Food Science Scholarship at Purdue University.

Jamie, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Angie many times at General Mills, and knew her for years. The last few years it’s just been through Facebook, but I wanted you to know how much I thought of her. She was fun, intelligent and a joy to work with. She left too soon

I have known Angie and her husband and olivia since they brought Olivia to Calvary daycare I was Olivias 2 year old teacher. She is so sweet and caring. Always has a smile on her face.
